Adreyn and Jake wanted to do things a little differently for their wedding celebration.
When I first talked with Adreyn and Jake, they were thinking of a more traditional wedding. The typical 12-hour day at one venue. Instead, they chose to make their marriage and celebration their own by doing things a bit differently. They decided on three small events on three separate days at three different places. I think it feels exactly like them. Fun, unique, exciting and intentional.Â
The Legal Ceremony
The first portion of their celebration was at the Ohio Statehouse. The initial plan was to go to the statehouse and sign their marriage license and make everything official. When those plans fell through, we still decided on celebrating by doing this session. Adreyn is so cool, she even made her own stunning bouquet.

The Vow Ceremony
This whole evening was so intentional and thought out. Just a few family members to witness their vows to each other on a hillside in the-middle-of-nowhere-Ohio. The air was a bit cold and the wind was blowing, but it didn’t matter. Everyone was joyful and happy. What a beautiful evening that I got to document and witness.
